Rainbow Fong

Rainbow Fong is a member of the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) and the China Film Association. She has participated in numerous film forums and served as a jury member at international film festivals worldwide, and has judged at the following film festivals:

  • Hawaii International Film Festival - Kau Kahōkū Award (International New Directors)

  • Rotterdam International Film Festival - NETPAC Award (Asian Cinema)

  • Guanajuato International Film Festival (National Competition)

  • Dhaka International Film Festival (National Competition, Women Filmmakers)

  • Arab Film Critics’ Awards (since 2023)

Additionally, she has also been a jury for several short film festivals and competitions, including the China Film Association’s “New Wings” program.

Before engaging in her independent curatorial and consulting work, Rainbow served as the Artistic Director of the International Film Section of the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival/Golden Rooster Awards for 5 consecutive years (2019-24) and a consultant for the Hong Kong International Film Festival (2014-18).

  • Currently, Fong is a delegate of the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and a member / representative of the China Film Association.

Rainbow is also one of the seasoned festival consultants for independent filmmakers in Asia.

She often works with first-time narrative feature directors, helping to position their films in the right festivals for deserved attention and facilitating their introductions within the international and local film industries. Some of the projects she has worked on include:

  • Heiward Mak’s High Noon

  • Scud’s Permanent Residence

  • Derek Kwok and Chi-kin Cheng’s Gallants

  • Wuershan’s The Butcher, the Chef, and the Swordsman

  • Xu Haofeng’s The Sword Identity

  • Tse Pun Ko’s Time

Most recently, she served as a co-producer for Xu Haofeng’s martial arts drama 100 Yards, which was invited to over 25 international firm festivals including Shanghai International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and others.

Rainbow is also a co-producer for Susie Au’s She Fell to Earth, which was invited to Rotterdam International Film Festival, Tiger Competition.

Fong has also been active in the educational / student festival space where she has helped spearhead a comprehensive reform to the Global University Student Film Awards for the Hong Kong Baptist University’s Academy of Film where she served as a consultant.

方美宝

方美宝为亚洲电影促进联盟（NETPAC）和中国电影协会的成员，方美宝参与了多个电影论坛，并在世界各地的国际电影节中担任评委。她曾担任以下电影节的评委：

  • 夏威夷国际电影节 - 卡卡霍库奖（国际新导演）

  • 鹿特丹国际电影节 - NETPAC奖（亚洲电影）

  • 瓜纳华托国际电影节（国家竞赛单元）

  • 达卡国际电影节（国家竞赛单元，女性电影家）

  • 阿拉伯电影评论奖（自2023年至今）

此外，她还担任过多个短片电影节/竞赛的评委，包括中国电影协会的“新翼”等。中国金鸡百花电影节及中国电影协会代表。

方美宝在以独立身份从事电影节策展和咨询工作之前，为中国金鸡百花电影节/金鸡奖外片单元艺术总监 (2019-2024)，並担任香港国际电影节顾问 (2014-18)。

方美宝亦是亚洲独立电影人资深的电影节顾问之一。

她经手的作品通常涉及首次执导的叙事长片导演。除了将他们的作品推向合适的电影节以获得应有的关注外，还帮助这些电影人在国际和本地行业内获得适当的介绍。曾参与的作品包括：

  • 麦曦茵的《烈日当空》

  • 云翔的《永久居留》

  • 郭子健、郑思𠎀的《打擂台》

  • 乌尔善的《刀见笑》

  • 徐浩峰的《倭寇的踪迹》

  • 高子彬的《杀出个黄昏》


最近，她担任了徐浩峰执导的武侠剧《门前宝地》的联合制片人，该片受邀参加超过25个国际电影节，包括上海国际电影节、多伦多国际电影节（TIFF）及其他。

方美宝也是区雪兒导演的《她坠入地球》的联合制片人，该片受邀参加鹿特丹国际电影节的主竞赛单元。

方美宝的並曾活躍参与教育及学生电影師事宜，並以顾问身份，推动改革香港浸会大学电影学院之《全球大学生电影奖》。
